Wireless Internet Reviews

Compare Mobile Broadband Plans

Choosing a wireless Internet provider is not easy. Not only do you have to choose from among many service providers, but you also have to choose from a few different platforms, all of which provide a different kind of experience. Each of the three major platforms -- mobile broadband, Wi-Fi, and WiMax -- runs at different speeds and has different coverage zones. For instance, Wi-Fi only works short-range, while mobile broadband connections cover much of the country.

You can use the tool below to select up to three providers and compare their offerings side by side. It will give you an idea of what area they cover, their plans and rates, any restrictions on the account, and other basic information. If a carrier has more than one offering we try to be as accommodating as possible. For instance, Verizon offers two tiers of service, but one only has 50MB of data per month. For the compare function we assume you want a bit more usage and just listed the 5GB plan.

Even after comparing providers, it's still recommended that you read the full provider review to make sure there's not something you're missing. Hopefully the compare tool helps you pare down your curiosities, and that the full review helps you make a decision on a wireless Internet provider.
