Overview:

Novatel Wireless are a leading supplier of wireless broadband access products for portable and mobile devices.

The Novatel Merlin™ EX720 is available exclusively through Sprint for use on their broadband network.

Format: The EX720 plugs into your laptop by any standard ExpressCard slot.

Technology: Works on the latest 1xEV-DO Rev A CDMA networks. The EX720 will also work on EV-DO Rel.0 and 1xRTT networks when no high speed network is available.



Frequencies: This is a dual band device operating on CDMA frequencies 800/1900 Mhz.

Rated Speeds: Although average network speeds can be a lot different the EX720 wireless modem can achieve download speeds of 3.1Mbps and upload speeds of 1.8Mbps on EV-DO RevA. networks.

Supported Laptop Operating Systems: This broadband wireless access card is designed to work with Windows 2000/XP.

Antenna: The EX720 features a port for an external antenna and also has an on-board flip-up antenna.

Warranty: 1 Year manufacturers limited warranty.

Additional Information: Novatel's Merlin™ EX720 also has built in assisted GPS functionality. This card is availble exclusively through Sprint.
