Overview:

Option is a global leader in the design and manufacture of wireless broadband access technology.

The Option GT Ultra Express card is designed for newer laptops that feature an ExpressCard slot. Providing quick and easy access to a high quality wireless internet signal across both the 3G and EDGE networks, the GT Ultra pc card is twice as fast as any card previously available.

Format: Fits in any standard PC ExpressCard slot (34mm).

Technology: The Option GT Ultra is designed to work on various networks including: GSM, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA, HSUPA.



Frequencies: This is a multi-frequency pc card that works on 850/1900/2100 MHz (UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA) and 850/900/1800/1900 MHz (GSM/GPRS/EDGE) band frequencies.

Rated Speeds: This card is rated for a maximum 1.7 Mbps download and a maximum of 1.2 Mbps on HSPA networks and a maximum of 135kbps download and 80kbps upload when on the EDGE network. Actual network network speeds will vary.

Supported Laptop Operating Systems: The Option GT Ultra broadband card will work with Microsoft Windows Vista, 2000 and XP. It will also work on Mac OS X (version 10.4 or later)

Antenna: Features a flip up antenna on edge of card that can be extended to provide an improved signal.

Warranty: Backed by 1 year manufactures limited warranty.

Additional Information: The Option GT Ultra Express card boasts some impressive speeds but be careful as they are not available in all areas and you may find that your service does not add up to their claims.
