UTStarcom was founded in 1991 and is headquartered in Alameda, California. They specialize in broadband and multimedia communications.

The UM150 wireless broadband USB modem is designed to work on 3G CDMA EVDO networks.

Format: Fits into any standard USB port on you laptop.

Technology: The UM150 is designed for the latest CDMA2000 1xEV-DO Rev. A high speed networks and is compatible with the slower EV-DO Rel.0 and 1xRTT networks.



Frequencies: Full CDMA 800/1900 Mhz dual support is available on the UM150 internet card.

Rated Speeds: The UTStarcom UM150 can achieve downlink speeds of 3.1Mbps and upload speeds are supported up to 1.8Mbps.

Supported Laptop Operating Systems: This will work with Windows 2000, XP and Vista it will also work with Mac OS X 10.4.8.

Antenna: The UM150 mobile broadband USB key has a built in retractable antenna.

Warranty: The UM150 come with a 1 year limited warranty from the manufacturer.

Additional Information: Text messaging is support by the UM150. It also features 64MB of on board flash memory and has a slot for a microSD card for extra memory. Versions of the UM150 are available from Alltel and Verizon.
